Ditch Witch introduced the new MT26 trencher. This part comes to be added to the already existing MT9, MT12 and MT16 models, providing lower costs and ensuring greater productivity. The MT26 offers hydraulic depth adjustment and the ability to drill a groove up to 76.2mm wide and 660.40mm deep. It provides optimal performance compared to any other microtrencher as with an excavation depth of 66cm it is suitable for the installation of 50.8mm optical fibers or power cables.
The MT26 is included in a category with the RT80 Carrier and Ditch Witch’s HX75 Absorber. The machine clears debris from the furrow as it cuts along the road, saving time and money on extra repairs or cleaning up the job site.
According to Steve Seabolt, Ditch Witch’s director of marketing, ” Microtrenching is growing rapidly as it solves fiber optic and power cable installation projects.” It was designed to create narrow trenches with the greatest possible width and depth of excavation, thereby increasing productivity and reducing production costs.
The accessory is compatible with a wide variety of blades and can be easily replaced. It also has a slot for (10.16 cm, 12.7 cm and 15.24 cm) vacuum cleaner to achieve a better cleaning of the trench.
